I am up reading the book Postmodern Existentialist Sociology and that lead me to this paper a PDF file titled Networking Canada by Barry Wellman from a talk he gave in May 2001, accepting a life time achievment award. Is he jumping on the network bandwagon or is he just an expatriot American social interactionalist? It is not a bad paper/talk and already I find him speaking the truth about my social life.
